Topics of the Conference
Fundamental aspects and recent advances in creating ions by: Electrospray ionization (ESI), matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI), electron impact ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), , atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI), surface-enhanced laser desorption ionization (SELDI), soft laser desorption ionization (SLD), laser-induced acoustic desorption (LIAD), secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), ambient mass spectrometry (AMS) sources, inductively coupled plasma (ICP), glow discharge (GD), microwave induced plasma (MIP), field desorption, fast atom bombardment (FAB), thermospray ionization, proton-transfer reactor (PTR), thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS), resonance ionization mass spectrometry (RIMS).
General Information
The conference will comprise two and a half days of oral contributions and short courses. Oral presentations (invited or submitted) will be 45 and 20 minutes duration.
Award
The Springer journal "Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry" will sponsor an award (200 € book voucher from Springer) for the best presentation of a Young Scientist.
